On falling off the face of the Earth…

I’m back after a couple weeks off. While I was supposed to go home on the 13th and find something to do in Indianapolis for the summer, I made a last minute (literally a week in advance) decision to move to Paris for the summer instead.  I’m officially a “garçon” (server) at a café across the street from the Jardin des Tuileries serving confused and overweight tourists (and also just regular Frenchies).

So far, I’m loving being in Paris, and am genuinely happy with my last-minute decision.  As far as the summer goes, I was either going to be a server in Indianapolis or a server in Paris. Tough decision.

Exciting news: I’m seeing Peter Eisenman and Rem Koolhaas speak on Thursday at a UNESCO event! Can’t wait.
